    the honey is lovely, the delivery was a little messy as one jar wasn’t closed properly and it spilled during transport

    I am not sure that the honey is raw. Normally raw honey is very thick and very sticky. This to me looks as though a bit of sugar syrup has been added.

      Honey comes in all sorts of colours and consistencies depending on the plants the bees forage on. For example borage nectar produces a very light very runny honey where as horse chestnut and buckwheat produce a thick dark honey. I can assure you there is no syrup added to our honey but its taste and texture will vary depending on the year and season.

    I brought the runny honey to make an elderberry syrup for my nephew who has a poor immune system but had to have a cheeky taste and its lovely! Some of the nicest honey I’ve had.
    I know it’s called runny honey but it slid off my toast, I had to stop myself from licking it off the kitchen side 🤪
    I’ve got my eye on the ginger infused honey next! One for me and another for a Christmas present 🤌
    It was packaged really well and arrived within a few days. Definitely worth the few extra pounds especially as it’s a key ingredient for the immune boosting syrup the honey needs to be raw and pure and I’m not sure the shop brought stuff is either.
    Thanks very much I’ll be back for the ginger!
